I tried downloading new version but couldnt connect due to proxy settings. Then tried to delete download and revert to my current version but now unable to connect to internet at all which is def working as I can use my laptop. What do i need to do? Th

Internet and firefox worked, i downloaded new version which would not work due to proxy settings. I then deleted download and thought i could revert to current version but now I am unable to connect to the internet at all using mozilla or explorer. My internet connection is fine as Im able to use my laptop. Please help im not very good with computers. Thanks.

In Firefox 3.6.4 and later the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings". See "Firefox connection settings" in Server Not Found - Troubleshoot connection problems

You can find the connection setting here: Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy
