I allowed Firefox to upgrade to 3.6.9 from 3.6.8 and now I cannot visit www.latimes.com without the browser locking up. It begins to load the home page but by the time it finishes it always locks up. I didn't have this problem with firefox 3.6.8!!!

same here. Every time I go to latimes.com now the firefox browser will completely freeze and I have to kill it.
