Firefox 3.6.10 updated. Adblock icon missing, tools dropdown menu unpopulated, horizontal resize bar in middle of webpages, IEtab plus installs but no icon too. Firefox 3.6.9 worked splendidly no problems with any add ons.
Noticed a resize bar at bottom of webpages, traced it's origin to Adblock Element hiding helper. Removed plug in bar disappeared. Noticed Adblock plus icon missing couldn't acces add ons option in Tools as there weren't any categories to select in tools, removed Adblock plus manually tools option became populated again! Tried to install IETab plus tools options disappeared again, removed IETab plus tools options reappeared!

Found in another forum. Worked for me.
Go to Tools - Adblock Preferences - Options - Uncheck Show in Toolbar Exit Firefox Restart Firefox - Tools - Adblock Preferences - Option - Check Show in Toolbar
The icon should be back on toolbar.
