Firefox will not open. I have to open Task Manager, remove FF process and then it will boot up.

I have tried many different settings in options and still have the same problem. In order for me to open FF each day I have to go to Task Manager, remove the FF process, close TM, then click on the FF icon. It will not open if I don't do that. I also have another issue. Sometimes when I go to Bookmarks or any other are in the top tab, the window appears with the edge and nothing in the container.
