I don't want Firefox to save my browsing history. I deselected "remember my browsing history", but it still saves my browsing history. How do I fix this?

I choose "use custom settings for history" and I deselected "remember my browsing history" & "remember search and form history". However, Firefox still saves my browsing history.

Are new entries being saved?

Disabling remember history doesn't remove existing entries, so you have to remove those if you do not want to see history from the past.
