I have configured Firefox 4 to NOT save passwords, and to forget cookies on close. I have looked in my "Saved Passwords" list, and there are none. I have five App Tabs: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader, Simplenote and Evernote. Each time I launch, the Gmail tab is logged in (this morning it even opened to the last email I had opened), Simplenote is logged in, but the other three are not logged in. Exiting FF and relaunching doesn't fix it, and neither does rebooting.

How can I keep Firefox from automatically logging me in to websites?

Thank you!

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

Are you reopening those pages automatically via session restore?

If yes then sessionstore.js will store the cookies as part of that session data and restore the login state.

Hi cor-el, thanks for helping. How do I know if I am "reopening those pages automatically via session restore?" and how do I disable it? I haven't actively set this myself, that I'm aware of, so, unless it's something the "App Tab" feature does behind the scenes in FF4, I'm not sure how it would have gotten set.
