I often use the Control + sequence to enlarge text, but suddenly with no additional software or hardware additions the size reverts to extremely small size. This happens either by doing nothing, or while entering text in an email. I have updated and installed the Squint add-on, but this exhibits the same behavior.

Ctrl + 0 (zero) will reset the page zoom, so make sure that you do not press that key sequence.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
