Click Tools | Add-ons | Plugins and disable Fun Web Products. This is adware/spyware rolled into one.
Update Firefox to 3.6.17 via Help | Check For Updates. The version you have installed at the moment is a security risk.
Next, update the following:
- Java via http://www.java.com/en/
- Adobe Flash via http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Adobe Shockwave For Director via http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
- Adobe Reader via http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO
- Microsoft Silverlight via the Windows Update site (link on your Start menu)
