Under Windows 7 Home Premium Hotmail Not working.Using forefox 3.6.18 and latest
HotMail when running windows 7 home premium or win 7 ultimate and using any recent version of firefox does not allow opening of email within the hotmail client. Website opens and displays inbox but no operations can be performed including opening folders. Works OK in IE. Have latest service packs and updates for the o/s.
Works ok under win xp using either firefox version.

Usually reloading the page (hit F5) is sufficient to wake it up. I get it all the time in Hotmail and that's what works for me.
In your particular case though, you have an app installed as a Plugin called "'WildTangent Games App Presence Detector'". This particular Plugin degrades performance and can result in the kind of problem you're experiencing. See this Wikipedia article on the subject: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WildTangent#Criticism
You can disable it by clicking the orange Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable/remove it in there.
Also, please visit the Plugins Check page and update where necessary since old plugins such as those which you have installed also degrade performance and potentially exposes your system to attack.
See this Adobe security bulletin concerning its Flash player: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb11-18.html Your version is a lot older than the one mentioned in there.

Need to uninstall all of Adobe 10.x versions on pc or laptop, and also uninstall K-Lite codec from applications/programs installed. Remove all associated Adobe add-0ns also. Clear out all IE and Firefox temp/cache/history. Install Adobe Reader 9.5.0 (or if need full version Adobe 9.5.0). This will fix the problem. I contact Microsoft, HP, and Comcast and no one knew how to fix the problem. Able to open up Hotmail, and Yahoo emails with pdf files without any further problems.
