Firefox opens with two homepages, my original PLUS the Firefox has installed update tab.
Seems my original homepage is no longer working, so want to change my homepage. Firefox does not remember me putting in the new homepage and continues to open with the old, original homepage plus the Firefox update page. Weird, doesn't do this on my computer that stays at home. Help?

you may need to remove "user.js"
you can find it in C:\Documents and Settings\user\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
i think there is another folder after profiles, so you may fin it in there

Already read it, I KNOW HOW to set a homepage, as stated in my original post. Nothing is working.

Thank you very much, I will give that a try! :)
Well, that didn't work. :( Mostly because since I am using Windows 7, came on my notebook, I don't even have documents and settings on my computer any more. :/ I did try uninstalling, which by the way didn't work and I had to FORCE uninstall the program. I then reinstalled. Still have two tabs for home pages popping up. And yes, I did once again, close the Mozilla Tab, open tools and tell the program to use the current page I had loaded as my homepage. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.
