The latest supported Firefox you can run on 10.4 is 3.6.25 which you can download from here. (other languages - here)

Note that Firefox 3.6 will only be supported for a limited time.

Verdi,

Thank you. I don't mind having less browser functionality, but do mind having less security. Any suggestions on how to reconcile this. Switch back to Safari?

OSX 10.4 isn't the only limiting factor that you have, Firefox 4+ versions need an Intel processor.

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4+ versions, try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8 .

edit
Firefox 3.6.25 has basically the same security updates that the latest Firefox 9 version has - far better then what you now have.
