I love some of the articles I find on many of the Firefox news programs and I like to print them and send them to my friends who are not fortunate enough to have a computer . The problem is when I try to print the article it doesn't stop when the article is over but continues to print ,sometimes nine or ten pages of comments thereby using way to much ink, for comments I did not even want. how can I print only the article without the comments? I realize this is probably a personal computer and printing skills problem but can anyone help me?

First thing is to look for a Print or Printer Ready button on the webpage. On web pages that stretch out over multiple pages many times there's a link near the bottom of the article for Show All Pages or Show Entire Article. Problem with using those is that the images are usually stripped out, just the article text is printed. Useless if what you want to print is a step-by-step "how to" article where the images are necessary.

Second, I use the Print Edit add-on to preview what will be printed and edit out what I don't want printed.

Not necessary, but Adblock Plus and NoScript are helpful, too.
NoScript usually blocks the comments from even appearing under an article, and Adblock Plus will block most advertisements upon page loading, resulting in a lot less to edit out when going to print web pages.
