Scroll icon doesn't appear inside Firefox window
I was just wondering why the scroll icon doesn't appear in the Firefox window when I scroll using the mouse touchpad. Scrolling works fine, but the cursor doesn't change to the scroll icon like it would with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Firefox is the only browser that it doesn't change in, but I use Firefox as my default browser.
Is it FF meant to show the scroll icon or is there something wrong?

Bump, anyone?
a shot in the dark: check missing buttons
Nope, unfortunately there's nothing there that can help.
I'm talking about the mouse cursor changing to a scroll icon when I use the mousepad's scroll feature. The mouse cursor stays as a pointer, in other browsers it changes to scroll icon, including when scrolling through documents and music on my laptop.
Try to modify the pref ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled on the about:config page from the default value -1 to 0 or 1 to see if that makes the scroll pad work.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the pref.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that did not help either. There's no problem with scrolling; just the mouse pointer icon not changing to a scroll icon when I use the mousepad, like it should change.
Is there anything else in about:config that could be modified to make the mouse cursor change to scroll cursor?
