Where is the "Manage" Bookmarks option in Firefox 19.0.2 so I can rename or delete a folder?
I have tried the "wheel" icon to manage / delete/ rename the bookmark folders as the tutorial suggests but it will not allow me to select the "delete" option (I can see "delete", won't work ) and it offers no option for renaming folders. Before I could right click on the title and then rename but now nothing works. I have Firefox 19.0.2 on a iMac

The menu item was renamed to "Show All Bookmarks" at some point. That should open what is now called the Library dialog.
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
On Windows, on the right-click menu, you always chose Properties in order to rename, there wasn't a Rename item. Does that work on Mac?
Still, that wouldn't explain why you can't delete...
Can you do what you need to do in the Library dialog, or is that malfunctioning as well?

Have the same issue on my system Win7 Pro 64 bit up to date patches and healthy when checked All the goodies needed for managing bookmarks are either grey and non-functioning or display quite nicely and are non-functioning... Everyone admires consistent work but I feel this is somehow off the mark. What's the fix folks ???
Hi timinftl, could you spell out in more details the parts that aren't working?
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks?
- Ctrl + Shift +b?
- right-click menu in the Library dialog?
- et cetera
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
