emails are being saved as firefox HTML document and cant read usually saves as word doc?
when trying to save aol email to word document it is saving as firefox HTML doc and cant open. it has only just starting doing this???

Can you open those files in Firefox via Firefox > New Tab > Open File ?
No as stated wont save as word doc?
If they have the wrong file extension then you need to rename them or make sure to save them with the correct file extension.

If you think that they are Word documents then they should have a .doc file extension. I assume that they are now saved as .html if they are Firefox documents.
Note that Windows hides some file extensions by default and .html and .txt are among those.
