how to activate embarqmail.com into firefox as default for internet mailto hyperlinks ?
When on the internet, I come across an article that allows me to email it. When I click on the email hyperlink box, I get a message saying, "there is no email client associated with this". In Firefox I found i am to go to Options, applications and select "mailto". A dialog box pops up and in it are my gmail, my yahoo mail. The email I currently use is embarqmail.com and is not listed. What do I add to this box to add my embarqmail ? The article says I need the email client executable file name (or/and path) to put here. What do I put in this block?
embarqmail.com is web email for centurylink phone company in NC. I cannot find any file associated with the embarq name while browsing for this client. I checked all the mailto extensions/addons here and found nothing that would match my needs.
thanks Tom

Hello,
Firefox allows webmail services (such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc.) to enable you to use them for Firefox's mail functions.
If the webmail service you want to use is not available in the Applications panel of the Options window, you can use an extension to add support for your webmail services:
This Addons.Mozilla.org search for mailto lists several extensions that may be suitable for different webmail services.
I'm afraid I don't see embarqmail in the list so it may not be possible. I suggest contacting the provider to ask them to develop a Firefox extension.
