Please check this SUMO article Disable or remove Add-ons and Unintalling addons links to check that the files of the Skipity plugin are removed. Once you don't see these files, you can be sure that the plugin is removed.

Only check if the plugins was removed: Firefox >> Toolsv >> Add-ons >> Look under Extensions or Plugins for 'Skipity'
