hello, is this a pc in a managed environment? these crashes are caused by the library nlsp.dll, which appears to be part of external software from NetOp.
Dear Philipp,
Thank you for your fast reply. Yes, this PC is part of a computer lab at our university; also Netop is used to control this lab.
any suggestions on how to solve this problem (other than uninstalling/removing NetOp).
Thank you again for your help.
Best, Anis
you may want to contact netop's support as well to see if they have a software update available that could address this issue.
Dear Philipp,
We removed the NetOp temporally from 3 PCs in the Lab, two of which Firefox crashed while using them the day before.
In one of the PCs (that Firefox crashed earlier), Firefox crashed again but with a new crash report with different details:

Please advise.
Thank you again for your continuous help. Best, Anis
hi anis, that crash signature isn't as clear-cut unfortunately. does firefox crash on this computer repeatedly with this same signature? if so you could try to reset the affected firefox profile and see if this can address the issue...

You can check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
