I'm running toshiba w8.1 64bit. Have firefox 35.0 is that 32bit or 64bit? Needed to know because when I updated Java they asked what the browser bit was running. Firefox on Windows is always a 32 bit version. As you can see in the System Details list, Firefox has found your Java 8u31 version:
