Firefox ignores my custom download location which IS a subfolder

Using the firefox menu for download location, I input a custom location on my D Drive which IS not a root location. It is ignored and firefox keeps saving to user mame/downloads on my C drive

Firefox must have undergone even more changes than I thought if you cannot even set your preferred download directory! When I was using Windows Firefox, I was able to put downloads wherever I wanted.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.


If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>

key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

You may have to clear the Site Preferences if you have previous saved files from those domains.
