Recently the when my Google Home page open there is irritating 'Privacy Reminder'. I ignore it then it will (apparently randomly) prevent me going on the web until I have opened it and gone through what seems to be a pointless exercise. Next time I open the Home Page we are back to square one -- the 'Privacy Reminder'. I use Firefox browser and Google search engine. I have nothing else to do with Google hence no account. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Why use the Google homepage?

With Google set at the default search engine in Firefox, the default Firefox homepage - about:home - will use Google for searches from the Firefox homepage; and from the Search Bar and the Address Bar.

Beyond that you could use an "ad blocker" like uBlockOrigin to block that "privacy reminder" from appearing; although that is like using a sledge hammer to swap a fly, for only that issue.
