[Nightly 49] Netflix or Clarovideo Still ask for Silverlight even if Widevine CDM is enabled.
Hello people!
Well, just to report a possible bug in Nightly 49, which now ships Widevine CDM plugin for DRM content (yay!). Basically, Netflix or Clarovideo still ask for Silverlight to play DRM content, even if Widevine is available. You have to change your User Agent into something alike Chrome in order to see DRM content through Widevine and HTML5.
This is a fresh profile, I've tried Safe Mode and re-creating a new profile from scratch. The only way to get HTML5 playback + Widevine CDM is to switch to Chrome's user agent.
Is there a fix Mozilla is working on, or this is (again) a problem with this two sites specifically... if so, I guess Mozilla team needs to talk with them in order to make them detect browsers properly?
The only Extensions I use by now are uBlock Origin and User-Agent Switcher.
Thanks in advance for your attention ;)
See ya!!!

Hi
Thank you for your post, but this is a support channel, rather than a bug reporting area. It is great that you are using Nightly - people like you make Firefox better - but please can you report any unresolved issues you find through Bugzilla@Mozilla.

If you want to be a Nightly Builds Tester then check out the Firefox Builds section at mozillaZIne forums. Threads are created pretty much every day listing the fixes and patches in each build.
Note if you do not have an account at mozillaZIne forums already, new members first post requires post approval to be public and then can post normally. This is being done due to spam.
The users that come here asking for help are usually using Release or Beta builds of Firefox at most and not the more bleeding edge Aurora (developers edition) and Nightly development channels.

Gotcha... Indeed, I got an account in mozillaZIne, and by the looks of it, it seems Mozilla is sorting out this... I'm amazed how Mozilla is stepping forward with Firefox, at least for me, this e10s thing is so fast that even Chrome feels slow to me XD
Thanks for your answers :D
