I work for a company that currently has a product developed in Silverlight, and although we our doing our best to update our software to HTML5, and because many of our customers prefer to use Firefox as their default browser, I would like to know when you plan on shutting off support for the Silverlight plugin.

I heard that it will be sometime this year, 2016, but do you know which month?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank You.

Support for all NPAPI plugins (with the temporary exception of Flash) will be dropped at the end of this year. So the faster you make the switch to HTML5 the better

When you say end of this year, do you mean December or could it be as early as this fall?

Again, thank you for your assistance, its greatly appreciated.
