I update Flash Player from 22 to 23. All flash in all browsers stopped. Adobe say to stay at 22 version of Flash Player. I de-update to 22. Firefox started to resent. He say: need to update... Its version is dangerous... And in all sites he make a question "Enable Flash on this website...". Its not comfortable! Can you add ignoring Flash version in Firefox addons?

Firefox automatically blocks outdated or vulnerable plugins because they may have serious security holes and pose a risk for users.

However, it is possible to disable this plugin blocking. To do so, please view the solution to this thread.

Warning: The blocklist will be disabled for all plugins. Use caution when working with outdated plugins.

The Firefox web browser does not automatically do the blocking though it may seem that way with the Flash Player Plugin.

Mozilla only adds Plugins to the blocklist when they are of severe security and or stability reasons to warrant doing so.

The Flash Player for instance did not have versions added to the blocklist between Feb/March 2013 and Dec 2014 as the security issues then did warrant Mozilla adding them to list for click-to-play.

Unfortunately almost all versions of Flash Player since Dec 2014 have been affected by critical vulnerabilities and most versions of Flash Player since Dec 2014 has been soft-blocked aka click to play activation.

In fact the versions are not always added to blocklist right away as for example Flash Player 23.0.0.162 (Win & Mac) was released on Sept 13 while the previous version was not added to list for click-to-play until Sept 23. The previous version 22.0.0.209 was released July 12 and was not added to list until July 25. So you see it is not automatic.
