Hello

This message is for "Airmail," who has been helping me with my problem.

First, I suggest that it is best to accept that a user has the problem they are stating, rather than trying to discount the problem.

You may be aware that there is a way to post messages on this Mozilla Support board by providing an email address, user name, and password. You don't have to log in once these are established. The system takes me right to this question entry page I am on right now without requiring a log in.

However, when I try to log back in to reply to your messages, I always get a user name or password error message. I have now "used up" four different email addresses trying to get help (including work and a Google address I rarely use). Please understand that I cannot log onto the Mozilla Support site.

I am "using up" my email accounts, because I cannot use the log on credentials I establish each time I "sign up" for support. I get an error message and password reset does not work. Therefore, I have to use another, different, email account and user name each time.

This is not about using my email account. This is about setting up a support account so that I can come back to this Mozilla Support web page and read my messages.

Airmail: You could really be of assistance if you would send a message to my personal email address: *@earthlink.net

I have used up all of my email addresses leaving help requests, so I won't be able to reply to you on this help site or leave yet another help request.

I hope this is all clear.

When you reply, I do get an email notification. If you want, you could post an email address where I could reach you or someone at Mozilla who will help. Alternately, please contact me at *@earthlink.net.

Believe me, the log on process to the Mozilla Support site seems to be broken. I can set up a log on user name and password, but it does not work when I actually try to log on. When I choose password reset and respond to the email to reset my password, the system will not log me on and gives an error message.

I hope you can help me by sending me an email. It would also be good if someone could reset my account and delete the following accounts:

  • @earthlink.net
  • @nasa.gov
  • @nasa.gov

I will try logging in on Safari to see if there is any success there.

It would be great if Airmail or Mozilla could email me at *@earthlink.net.

Richard
