My privacy settings started saving my cookies, until my cookie killer deletes it, as usual. How do I go back to previous settings?

It might have been after a yahoo search kept pushing duckduckgo out of the way, when I use the search bar. It took a while, but it seems webroot got rid of that problem, but my privacy settings aren't how they were. I used the standard privacy settings within the "new private window" option.

Try this, it should bring back everything to default https://goo.gl/9iH8U1 But you should also know that it would delete everything, so it's better to enable #firefoxsync first- https://goo.gl/nsv3Yv

If you use Private Browsing mode then your cookies will automatically expire when you close the PB mode session because in PB mode all data is kept in memory and not stored in the profile folder.

What cookie behavior do you desire?

The reset might have worked. I have not noticed anything unusual yet.
