I play an online horseracing game.when i use firefox everything works including watching the race using the race viewer. However when the the race is over and I x out of the race viewer firefox crashes everytime.Nothing works and i have to minimize and close firefox from my task bar because even the x button at the top is frozen.I have 2 computers both windows 10.firefox works well with the one that has version 65.0b6(32bit) but not on this computer that has version 64.0(64bit) both versions claim to be the latest version.I need this computer to work too.

Firefox 64 is in the "release" channel (stable version). Firefox 65 is in the "beta" channel (pre-release test version). Firefox only updates within the same channel.

To change channels, you can install beta "over" your current installation. It should replace the program files and use your existing data, upgrading your profile. I suggest backing up first, just in case something goes wrong.

But before you go, if you could provide a little more information for future reference:

Does the racing game run in Flash?

Is Firefox crashing (closing on its own) or freezing (which is why you need to "kill" it)?

This is the general article on freezes: Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix.

For crashes, if you are getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox may have logged some data that would help track down the cause of the problem. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.
