Visiting addon page crashes
Tried https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1199066 nothing helps
Firefox 65.0.2 on arch kernel 4.20
Tried to install add ons, can access addon search result. Once i enter the actual extension page, it crashes.
The tab loads, the images show, firefox crashes only after the tab is focused.
If it helps. My x session crashes as well, and it gives the following error. "firefox: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporary unavailable)

oh the "firefox not treating it as a crash" thing kinda inspired me to dig deeper in the actual x-server log.
after so long, i finally traced it back to my window manager, looks like it got some issue with displaying emojis in the title bar.
just nice, there is this fox emoji that firefox uses for its extension pages.
all good now :+1:

What's your computer system and Firefox version?
Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox program folders. Do not remove the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
Do Not remove any profile folders.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner if you have one. Then run the installer. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If there is a problem, start your Computer in safe mode and try again.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
For more help on crash reports, see; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-asking-support
Running arch, pacman removed, restarted, installed again, still crashes when visiting page.
Funny thing is, about:crashes shows "no crash reports have been submitted".
Its almost as though firefox causes the x server to crash, and has no idea that it has crashes. Or am i doing something wrong :(
Did you follow the directions in my first post?
I used pacman to remove and reinstall firefox, without touching the profiles.
Is the last part on "safe mode" relevant? I suppose that is only relevant for manual installation.
I just restarted arch and reinstalled firefox.
I reinstalled firefox using pacman, is this supposed to be the right step?
if it helps, i found another site where firefox crashes too, "https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code". it is kinda weird :(
Can you post any crash reports?
Did you do a clean reinstall as I instructed in my first post? Did you get your Firefox from Mozilla.org ?
When i re-open firefox and go to about:crashes, there is only one single line about there being no crash reports sent. Do i need to enable it or something?

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Select Data Choices. Turn on Enable Crash Reporter.
Note: For Firefox 56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Under Firefox Data Collection turn on Allow Firefox To Send Crash Reports.
yeah, i downloaded the file from mozilla, untar-ed it and ran the binary, didn't work :(
i allowed firefox to send crash reports already, but i got the foloowing screen: https://imgur.com/rhna54p
this is so confusing :"(

That was very good work. Well done.
Firefox 67.0b4, Window 10 Pro
"i finally traced it back to my window manager" I guess that's unique to Linux?
I have been experiencing this for the past 2 days. I can visit the "version history" page of any addon, but trying to access the main page of any addon immediately crashes Firefox.
I've used a "portable" (extracted) version of Firefox for years thanks to [url=http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2821799]the-edmeister/url
I don't know if it's related, I've also seen other strange behavior to several weeks lately. When I launch Firefox, I see the "customize" tab until the previous session loads'
Also, when I select certain links, it will either trigger the "customize" tab to open, or open the customize tab in a new window.
I'm gonna create a fresh profile and report back.

my problem was having emojis in the title of the browser. here is a song from youtube with emojis in the title. see if this crashes firefox for you. if it doesn't then this fix wont be for you.
