When I log in and try to change email account, message says it's already taken, since it is my account how do I get rid of the old and enter the new one as mine
I am trying to change my email for Mozilla from a bresnan.net account to my new gmail.com account, and I must have entered my gmail.com account in a previous attempt, which results in a message that I can't replace my bresnan.net account with my gmail.com account since it is already taken. I have no way to log into an account that has my new email address. What can I do?

Did you ever set up a secondary account assuming this is about a Firefox Sync account ?

Did you try a password reset with this email (account)?
