I'm using Firefox version 70.0.1 on Mac. Is it possible to swap the actions of cmd+k and cmd+l? I would like to be able to use cmd+k to focus the url bar and to use cmd+l (ie, cmd + lowercase L) to focus the search bar.

Wondering something I couldn’t find a straight answer for.

I have several devices logged in on my Firefox Sync account. If I chose to remove another (remote) device from Sync, will it also remove all the bookmarks and saved data on that remote device?

Or does it simply log me out (i.e. stop further syncing) and leave all as it is?

Thank you.

Alternatively, if it is not possible to re-assign what cmd+k and cmd+l do, is it possible to have pressing cmd+; also focus the search bar? This way I could use cmd+l and cmd+; to focus the url bar and search bars respectively (and just not use cmd+k).

I have tried doing this via System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts but doing that requires a "Menu Title" (it prompts you to "Enter the exact name of the menu command you want to add.") As far as I can tell Firefox does not have a menu title for either action (neither of the actions to focus the url bar nor focus the search bar appear in the menus) and hence I don't know the magic phrase to put here to make this work (or even if there is one).

Anyone have any ideas?
