Ever since I updated to ver. 91 a few days ago, I have been getting the message shown below. I notice that others have in the past experienced the same problem, and I have tried a number of solutions presented, but none of them work in my case. I have made no changes to the settings, which worked prior to updating to ver. 91.

Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent Mail) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent Mail-xxxxxxx@gmail.com

Since gmail automatically copies sent messages to the Sent Mail folder, 'Place a copy in' in the Copies & Folders section of Account Settings should be unchecked, and Sent Mail is the correct folder to subscribe. Making this change often eliminates the error message.

Thank you for your expertise. I'm no longer getting the message. It's very confusing, what with one folder in Thunderbird entitled "Sent" and one in Gmail entitled "Sent Mail". All this became an issue after I updated to ver. 91 of Thunderbird. It was never an issue before that. Thanks again.
