After 95.0 Browser Update I can't set download file automatic option

more options

Before the 95.0 Firefox Browser update, all files would download to a location on my harddrive. The files can still be downloaded to my harddrive, but I can't set the option to automaticallly download files to my harddrive. Each time I download a file it wants to open the file and I must click save file. But the default that tells me if I want to automatically do an action isn't there. I can't set the browser to automatically save files.

Can you help?

You should be able to set that for each file type on the General page of Settings, under the heading Applications.

Are you setting the preferred handling to "Save File"? This article for PDFs describes where that would be set: View PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer.

Do you use any add-ons related to downloads which could be overriding the built-in behavior?
