WHY did I get a screen from Colorway Software when I opened my browser this morning.

I was unable to close my Firefox browser.

I could not use my browser. Why was use of my Firefox blocked?

The messages were to click on a button to use Colorway or to use my original theme.

This looks like a SCAM or TROJAN attack.

WHY DID THIS COME UP??????

Can I trust Firefox to be safe???

Hi Gary, randomly selected users got a Colorways promo after their Firefox 94, 95, or 96 updates (example screenshot attached). Nothing to worry about, and you could have dismissed the overlay by tapping the Esc key. (As a Windows user, my longtime "first thing to try" to cancel a dialog.)
