Not allowing to reset password - says incorrect password every time on any device
I am trying to reset my password as it has not been changed in a while. When I go to the change password area of my profile, I type in my existing password, and the new one, and then it says "Incorrect Password" every time. I know that I am typing it correctly, and I have even used the exact same password to login to this very device, and my mobile device, to double and triple check I have it right. It works when logging in to Firefox, but when used in the change password area it tells me the password is not correct. I am at a loss what to try next.

Maybe log out of all devices and go back to the original PC or Device that setup the account and insure it's working and correct.
You could try using a different part of the Privacy page in Settings. Go down to the heading Certificates and press the button labelled Security Devices. Select Software Security Device in the left panel then the button Change Password in the right panel. I have never used that as I have no need to change the primary password. If you can't do it, you could try the button Log Out (or Log In).
Note that the Primary Password is only used locally to encrypt the logins stored in logins.json in the Firefox profile folder and is never part of syncing logins (password).
Mobile devices do not use the PP, but instead use OS authentication (face/finger). Do not confuse the PP with the password of the Firefox Sync account as both have different purposes, the latter is used to encrypt data locally before it is uploaded to the Sync server.
