Compatibility Issue with Firefox on OS X 10.10 for Microsoft Copilot
I am currently using OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and I have been experiencing compatibility issues while trying to use Microsoft Copilot with Firefox. (I get a blank screen.)
As for ChatGPT - I can type a message into ChatGPT, but am unable to submit the message.
Could you please provide guidance or recommend a version of Firefox that would work best with OS X 10.10 and support Microsoft Copilot (and hopefully ChatGPT as well?)
I'm currently running Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit)

The most current Firefox you can run on the old eol macOS 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 is Firefox 78.15.0esr https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-mac-osx-users-esr
Firefox 79.0 to Firefox 115 ESR requires macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 at minimum to run. Firefox since 116.0 to current has required macOS 10.15 or later to run.
So unless your hardware allows you to upgrade to macOS 10.12 or later you will not be able to run a more current Firefox.
To clarify, the issue that I’m having is that I can’t run either MS Copilot or ChatGPT within Firefox.
Not sure if maybe there’s a preference setting I could change in Firefox that might fix the problem.
Firefox 78.0 was released back on June 30, 2020 while the Initial release of ChatGPT was later on November 30, 2022. The last update Fx 78.15.0esr was released October 5, 2021.
So Firefox 78 came and went before ChatGPT was on scene and the ESR updates are for security and allowed stability fixes at most anyways.
That is the issue with using older versions of Firefox as you are going to find sites having issues that does not occur in more current versions.
