When using Private Browsing, does Firefox save any information to the computer and then delete it from the computer when the browser closes, or does it not store anything on the hard drive at all at any time?

Trying to withhold information from a very curious computer-savvy other half, who will trawl anything to find out what i'm trying to get her, even to the point of running file recovery tools!

Other (security) software and plugins (Flash, Java, WMP, QuickTime) may still save data elsewhere, only Firefox itself doesn't save data to disk.
