How do you fix an unresponsive add-ons window?
Whenever the add-ons window is opened, the window itself can be streached and moved, and although everything inside the window will highlight normally with mouse-over, a click inside the window closes the window, preventing me from using the add-ons whatsoever. My question is this: how do I fix this? I have already done a clean un-install, which worked for about 30 seconds. Firefox itself doesn't crash, but the add-ons window closes.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
Thank you for responding so quickly, I appreciate it, and NO, I just tried it, and in safe mode it works just fine. However, I have un-installed and re-installed firefox twice, the second time clearing data, as well, in case that was doing it, but it wasn't. As I said, safe mode does not have this problem. thank you for helping.
Since it's ok in the Firefox SafeMode, you need to troubleshoot your extensions to figure out which one is causing that lockup of the Addons window. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/troubleshooting+extensions+and+theme...
i am useing facebook game and when i play it tell me that it crashed what can i do to stop it
Hi everyone
I have the same problem with Mozilla Firefox 3.6.6, but in my case the problem isn't solved when starting in safe-mode. I then tried Firefox Portable Edition 3.6.6. And there the Add-on window is closed automatically too. Isn't that strange?
Hope you have a solution for my problem
