I did as you instructed and it did not work. Still can't access hotmail thru firefox

Try signing in at www.live.com.

Tried it and again it didn't work.

Try to sign in in safe mode.

If it works, disable all add-ons in safe mode dialog, save changes and restart -- it'll restart you to normal mode with all add-ons disabled; check for the issue there again.

I again tried to sign on to hotmail and got the following message. I can get into live mail but it is important that I access hotmail in order to send an attachment to a site that will only send if in hotmail and not live mail.

   * This site may be experiencing a problem
   * The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network

You can:

   * You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.

It can sometimes happen that a Hotmail account is not available. I've seen that in the past a few times, so you can try again later to see if that works like the message says.

This has been going on for over a month. But good news is that I again emptied out all cookies and was finally able to sign into hotmail. Thanks so much.
