I can't drag links under my Awesome bar anymore. I kept frequently used links there...why can't I do that now?

I could do it the day before yesterday. Then I restored my computer, reinstalled Firefox and now I can't drag my favorite links to the space above or below the Awesome Bar. Please help. I am lost without them.

Thanks, Michelle

I expect that once you restore the "normal" appearance before Firefox 4.0 you are used to that you will be able to work normally again. Currently the Tabs bar can appear above or below the Location Bar. All toolbars can be hidden. I can't tell if you are missing a toolbar because of 4.0 or if you were on 4.0 before and lost a feature.

You can make Firefox 4.0.1 look like Firefox 3.6.17, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 look like 3.6)

I fixed it. Thankfully, I had signed up for Sync. It restored everything for me once I did that and it's back to normal again...with all my favorites in tact. Now to figure out how to fix my tabs. They start in the center and it is driving me insane. do you know how to fix that?
