How may I exclude one add-on from checking for updates, while allowing all others to be able to check for updates?
I have an add-on that I do not wish to update; as I am satisfied with the version I am using, and I am dissatisfied with the updated version.

hello, go to firefox > addons > extensions & click on "more" next to the entry you want to edit. in the next panel you can exclude just this extension from being automatically updated.
I want to exclude one add-on from updates, while allowing all others to update.
Did you open the Add-ons manager (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and clicked the More link of that specific extension?
At the bottom of the details window there is a radio selector to set the update options for the extension.
- Automatic Updates: Default - Om - Off

@cor-el, et al,
I have set the Automatic Updates to 'off'. That is not helping.
Perhaps I am not clearly explaining what I wish to accomplish?
I NEVER allow any automatic updates on this machine; not Windows, not my AV, and certainly not Firefox or any of the extensions.
Therefore, I hope that everyone understands that I want to exclude a certain extension from updating, period.
No automatic update, no manual update, no update of any kind what-so-ever, at all, in perpetuity.
You can disable automatic updates via the Tools menu button on the about:addons page ([] Update Add-ons Automatically).
@cor-el,
You are messing with me, right?
Or did you not read (or perhaps not understand) my previous post?
If it is the former, please stop and try to be serious.
If it is the latter, what may I do to help you comprehend my question?

I don't believe that blocking one add-on from updating while allowing all others to update is possible, nor is it wise. Add-ons frequently need to update in order to fix stability issues that are found in the add-on as time goes by. Why don't you want to update this add-on?
If it is not possible, I understand, although I do not see why it should not be an option that could be left to the individual user to decide.
The update adds 'features' that I neither need nor want.
The original version works perfectly well for my needs.
i don't understand the premise of your question - when you have turned off all addon updates anyway, why would you need further support in firefox to prevent an update of this particular extension?
