My Thunderbird installation in Win8 provides a button for "Not Junk" but where is the button to teach "Not Spam"?

I receive E-mails in both my "Junk" folder and in my "Spam" folder which are legitimate and I want E-mails from those senders to come directly into my In Box (so I don't have to fear losing important E-mails because Thunderbird ARBITRARILY routed them to "Junk" or "Spam" folders).

My Thunderbird installation in Win8 provides a "Not Junk" button which presumably teaches the "Junk" filter that future E-mails from selected senders are "Not Junk" and should thereafter come directly into my Inbox. HOWEVER, E-mails Thunderbird ARBITRARILY CHOOSES to route into the "Spam" folder do not have a "Not Spam" button by which I can train the "Spam" filter that selected E-mail (and their senders) are legitimate and not spam.

How do I get a "Not Spam" button to appear in the options for each E-mail routed to the "Spam" folder? This a serious need. Please may someone provide an answer to this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help. Ron

This is because Thunderbird does not use the word spam or classify email as spam. You need to look at your email providers spam filters or maybe your antivirus software. Thunderbird only uses the word Junk for this exact reason.
