Firefox update wipeout
Overnight, the Firefox on both my computers has been updated without any warning. This morning, on start-up, it became apparent that Firefox thought I was starting from scratch - set as default browser, etc, etc - and I find that all my bookmarks have gone, along with most of my login passwords. It's like I've suddenly been blinded!! I've tried to follow the Help guides, but they're clearly written for someone with a greater understanding than I have, and the one thing I did follow ended in failure when the file I was to open in my profile appeared to contain nothing. This is not what I expect from a browser that has been my default for years! Please help - in the simplest terms possible. P.S. I have a folder on my desktop named Old Firefox Data, which appears to be from December, but I have no idea how it got there.
