I was trying to change the background color and got multiple answers from win help(less). After finishing I end up with a black scree and green fonts. Other pages on the web show in various colors as do the fonts. How can I fix this? Thank you

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Also check the default colors that are used when web page aren't specifying their own colors

Note that these settings affect background images.
