Sync now does nothing. I have detached PC and Android from my FF account ,any times, cleared my old sync data, reattached my PC and tried Sync Now again. I am FF v30.0.

about:sync-log still shows as old Sync failing - Index of file:///C:/Users/User/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/pkf8tdsn.default/weave/logs/

Sync is ok if it works (a long time ago) but there is no real way to know if anything happened, wht it failed, etc Very frustrating David Jackson, Sydney

David Jackson, Thank you for your post File:error-1394679792917.txt 15 KB 13/03/2014 2:03:12 PM There was a new sync this year, and the date on those logs are pretty old. In the new sync version you can append errors from the new sync the same way as the old sync.

  • How do I turn on sync logs:
  1. Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
  2. Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
  3. Logs and error messages will be located here

Thank you and we look forward to your reply.
