How can a user send a scheduled email from Thunderbird 31.1.2 in Ubuntu 14.04 OS: the email would send automatically eg in two days time or in a weeks time ?
I have an AMD-Sempron with Ubuntu 14.04 as OS and I use Thunderbird as email client. I often need to send emails in a scheduled tims scale eg next Friday between 4pm and 7 pm so i'm wondering can Thunderbird schedule the sending of emails for some future time / future date ?? thanks for your time and any assistance , TT , Sept 29, 2014 : GMT 21.51 hrs

good thing there is a manual then hey, http://blog.kamens.us/send-later#magicslr
The Manual says "When you want to schedule a message for later delivery, either select the File > Send Later menu command in the message composition window, or hit Ctrl-Shift-Enter. "

Hi Matt, thanks a million for your help : I'm nearly there : sorry for being such a pain but I have downloaded the "send later" add-on but I don't know exactly how to schedule a message ie I'm not sure how to make "send later" active for a particular email : sorry again for being obtuse : any help is much appreciated , thanks TT
