When I load my wordpress site it automatically changes the URL to end ".co.uk/wp" instead of ".uk" But this only happens on my desktop, not on my phone or on my laptop (which runs the same version of FF). How do I fix this?

Thanks

Hi,

How are you loading the site? Are you loading from bookmarks or from starting to type "wordpress" in the URL bar, for example?

If the latter Firefox is probably bringing up that URL (ending in /wp) as the "first match" from Firefox's history (memory of visited sites) as the "most relevant" match, and you pressing return selects it.

Try typing what you're typing and then selecting (using the down and up cursor keys or the mouse) the matches from the drop-down list that you DON'T want (e.g. the one ending /wp) and pressing the DEL key on your keyboard.

If you're using another method than something else is amiss. Also, are you using Sync?

Hope this helps.

It's OK. I resolved the issue by clearing all my cookies and restarting the browser.

I was simply changing the address from .uk/wp to .uk and it was auto correcting it to .co.uk/wp which is an address I had never previously used. It was very odd.
