Was doing my usual shift-delete from my inbox, when i accidentally hit the end button at the same time as hitting the delete button. Can I retrieve my messages?

At this point do you have an inbox folder? Are your messages in the Trash folder? Are you using IMAP or POP?

If your mail server has a browser interface (web mail access such as mail.google.com), do the messages show up there?

Hi duggabe, yes l have an inbox with messages visible since the delete. Messages not in Trash(first place l looked) or if they are l can't see them. Using IMAP, my mail server uses outlook.com and the messages don't appear there either.

A Shift+Del bypasses the Trash. There is no undo! See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts#w_message-functions
