Here is live example of my problem. When I click on link that leads to torrent file, Firefox forward this link to my torrent app (I mean not an Firefox application, but application installed on my android phone). But I need only download this file (because torrent app can't handle some of such links), not to forward! Once Firefox asked me what app should be used to open torrent file types, I set my torrent app as default, but now I need to reset this option and can't find any way to do so.

Hello.

Please try going to android's Settings--Apps--and then select the torrent app that you use--then tap Clear Defaults. This should prevent Firefox from automatically going to your torrent app by default.

Hope this helps!

I tried to do that, but Clear defaults button is disabled like if no defaults are set. I tried do that for Firefox too, button were enabled, I cleared but it gives no effect related to my problem.

Hello.

Worst case scenario, I would just uninstall and reinstall the torrent app that you were using. Or get another one and see if Firefox will let you use that one. Sorry for the issue.

Hope this helps in some way!

If you long press on the link, do you get the option to save it instead of opening it?

If I uninstal torrent app, Firefox will ask me what to do, but if after that I install it again - Fierfox uses this app as default again without any ask windows. The only way is to try another app.
