I move all messages from Inbox with a rule but Inbox is still marked (blue) as containing unread messages.

I have several email accounts on external servers that I feed into one local folder "Incoming" with a rule for each, "Move message to local folder Incoming". This works to my satisfaction, emties server Inboxes and keeps everything locally.

The "Inbox" of one server is marked Bold Blue as if it contains unread messages but it is empty. If I open the empty inbox, the unread indication goes away.

This server is POP, the others are IMAP.

Seems like a filter:

Copy message to folder/somewhere Mark as read Delete message Stop execution

works.

A moved message is some way still in the empty source folder

If I put a "Mark as read" in the filter after the "Move" in the filter, the BlueMark goes away. Unfortunately the already moved message is also marked as read.
