Hello, so this has been happening for a while. I thought it was just the amount of tabs I have up on Windows 8, but it's not. When I'm on Firefox on my Ubuntu, I don't get flashing black screens. I have a lot of tabs on both OS. Only time when it flash is when I'm on my Windows OS. Sometimes, I'll be able to do my routine stuff for about a good hour or so until I start seeing black squares on Firefox. Like there's literally black random flickering squares on my Firefox. Then when I attempt to switch to a different tab. The entire Firefox goes black. I know it's Firefox because when I minimize Firefox, I see my Desktop and everything clear as day. Even my File Explorer is fine. Just Firefox does it. Any suggestions?

hello therockers, maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

Oh wow, I didn't see that. I had this unchecked a long time ago, but for some reason. It got checked again. Was it the new update that re-checked it? Maybe that was the problem. Thanks for the help.
